Izmir: 24 hour itinerary
Izmir is the only airport serving the area around Alaçati, so if you are visiting the area, it is likely you’ll fly in/out from there.
Izmir is the third most populous city in Turkey, after Istanbul and Ankara and it has more than 3,000 years of recorded urban history, in ancient times known as Smyrna.
